"I strongly recommend the ARC for anyone!"
I have never been a huge drinker, just drinking at the odd social occasion and rarely a glass of wine in the evening. However, completing the ARC has made me realise the impact this small consumption of alcohol was having on my life.
My mood has shifted and I am finding that I have a much more positive outlook. I am far less grumpy, and am no longer waking up randomly at 3am. I am also finding that I have so much more time to myself! I no longer spend my weekends hungover, anxious and hating myself, and I am being more adventurous in my free time and doing the activities I never had the time, or confidence to do before. I generally feel a much better version of myself!
Look And Feel Better To Become Your Best Self!
People usually drink alcohol to enhance their mood, however, alcohol is a depressant due to it's negative effects on your mind and body. Instead of using alcohol as a 'social lubricant' or as a crutch after a long and stressful day, imagine feeling more confident to socialise with friends and to unwind in a way that makes you feel good that day and the next.
Say goodbye to dehydrated skin, those last few pounds and feelings of lethargy as taking a break from alcohol will help you to look and feel better than ever!
More Mental Clarity, Focus & New Levels Of Energy!
Imagine waking up in the morning, leaping out of bed and feeling completely ready to take on the day rather than feeling lethargic, unmotivated and having to drag yourself out of bed.
By going alcohol-free, you will gain deeper restorative sleep which in turn will improve your mental clarity and focus.Your learning and problem solving skills will improve along with improved decision-making skills and creativity. What's more, your productivity and energy levels will go through the roof and you will also be better able to control your emotions and behaviour.
Reduce Stress, Anxiety & Become A Much Happier Person!
This very thing that we crave after a long day only temporarily numbs our stress and anxiety. But here's the thing, it has been proven over and over again that alcohol is a depressant and quite simply what goes up must come down. Alcohol effectively tricks your brain and once it's toxins are processed, you are plummeted to a higher level of anxiety than before.
Alcohol disrupts the balance of our brain's neurotransmitters which are required for good mental health. When you break the cycle, your body re-balances, freeing you to live with higher self-esteem and to thrive with genuine self-confidence and authenticity.

This is so much more than just taking a break from booze!
"But There's Nothing Wrong With Having
A Few Drinks?"
That's what we used to think! But here's the thing...
Alcohol is a psychoactive drug that alters your perceptions, cognition, behaviours and mood. Alcohol is a depressant which means it causes a large part of your stress, anxiety and irritability. Crazy hey?!
"But It Helps Me And Makes Me Feel Good..."
It may seem that way but this is a misconception. We drink to feel better, however, alcohol artificially stimulates the pleasure and reward centre of your brain. It plays a trick on your brain making you feel great but at the same time altering other brain chemicals that are enhancing feelings of depression. As alcohol is a depressant it can't relax you or make you feel any better. It will briefly slow down your thinking but will not truly relax you. Once the alcohol wears off, your stress and anxiety returns, often stronger than before.
And that's not the only misconception, there are many more:
Alcohol helps me get a good nights sleep? Nope! Alcohol is one of the most misunderstood sleep aids out there...trust me, it doesn't help you sleep. In fact, it does the complete opposite by disrupting your deep restorative sleep cycles (REM) so you wake up feel tired and irritable. This affects your focus, energy levels and prevents you from being a high performing person.
Hang on. So my habit of having a drink to feel better is actually making me feel sad, anxious, tired, affecting my self-esteem and preventing me from being on top of my game? YES!
What else happens when you take a break from booze?
In 2015, one of the largest studies into the effects of taking a 4 week break from alcohol was conducted.
The participants were average drinkers and the results were astonishing.
The participants experienced a 40% reduction in liver fat, significant drops in blood pressure and cholesterol, lowered glucose levels, significant weight loss and a drop in two growth factors that are linked with the development of cancer.
Regain control of your drinking, have more energy, improve your sleep and enjoy better looking skin and weight loss.
Professor Kevin Moore of the Royal Free Hospital in London, who co-authored this study suggested that if there was a drug that produced these results, then everyone would want it!
Why Choose ARC?
Whilst programs including Dry January and Sober October are driven by good intentions, as participants, we tend to hide away, simply hanging on
to the end when we celebrate by drinking in excess. As a result, we end up right back at square one.
Changing a lifetime of drinking habits which are hardwired can be tough. The ARC lets you unplug from the alcohol matrix, helping you to rewire your brain around alcohol and get better at life.
This change in mindset will enable you to better understand yourself, to

The ARC is designed for the sober-curious. It comes with a private online community and uses positive psychology to break old habits while building healthier ones.
